Once a part of Intentia (www.intentia.com), the global retailing ERP software company, ETP enaged Iternia to conceptualise the new User Interface for Point of Sale (POS) software. Iternia worked from scratch i.e. task-flow analysis onwards to design a completely new UI for touch screen based operations. One of the unique innovations here was introductions of SMS kind of key pad on-screen, that took much lesser screen space. As the research indicated that most of the POS machine users are college going youngsters who are well adapt in using this kind of interface. |
